Curriculum
Our curriculum prepares students for careers in a broad range of professional settings with an emphasis on hospitality industries. The curriculum design offers you a set of core courses that build a foundation in each of the four main areas of hospitality, with the flexibility to choose advanced courses in the area of your interest.
Degree Programs
5-year, associate bachelor’s degree program
- For junior high school graduates who have passed the national high school entrance exam
- Students enter as high school freshmen
4-year bachelor's degree program
- For high school graduates who have passed the national university entrance exam
- Students enter as university freshmen
2-year bachelor's degree program
- For students who hold a 5-year, associate bachelor’s degree
- Students enter as university juniors
- Offers advanced, intense training
MU confers degrees on students who obtain the required number of credits and satisfactorily complete a required internship within the required time. Each program requires students to intern for one-year in the hospitality industry. Many students choose to go overseas to Singapore or Japan for their internship.

Common Curriculum
These courses, common across Minseng College, are designed to develop core knowledge and skills in languages, information systems, liberal arts, and social sciences.
Hospitality Management Core
Courses include: Introduction to Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hotel Services and Technology, International Etiquette, Hospitality Marketing, Hospitality English
Other Hospitality Management courses are divided into four modules: food and beverage managment, cuisine, and hospitality services
- Food & Beverage Management. Courses include: Restaurant Planning and Management, Food and Beverage Service Skills, Wine and Spirits Management, Banquet Management
- Cuisine. Courses include: Cooking Principles and Practice, Basics of Western Cooking, Modern Asian Cuisine, World Food Cultures, Menu Design
- Baking. Courses include: Baking Principles and Practice, Cake Making and Decorating, Ice-Cream Making and Decoration, Chocolate
- Hospitality Services. Courses include: Hotel Housekeeping Management and Implementation, Hospitality Accounting and Cost Analysis, Hospitality Health and Safety, Hotel Security Management, Hospitality Human Resource Management
