Certification and License
At present, the Hospitality Management Department requires students to obtain at least two professional license credits (including at least one professional license). The Department has several courses that offer certificate examinations and/or support for professional licensing as part of the curriculum. The number of relevant professional licenses students have obtained has increased year over year over the last few years.
Professional licenses that count towards graduation fall into six categories:
- Hospitality-related professional or technical licenses
- Specialized vocational or technical licenses (certified by the Ministry of Education)
- International professional certifications
- Civil or legal professional competence license
- Other licenses in line with the MU’s express educational goals
- Licenses in foreign languages
